Anh Nguyen
Ph.D. Student
Anh T Nguyen (MA, University of Southern Indiana) is a Ph.D. student at The University of New Mexico studying critical media and intercultural communication. His work focuses on Asian American identity making, intersectionality, media activism, and possibility of interracial coalitions. Anh is currently serving as the student representative at the Organization for the Study of Communication, Language, and Gender from 2020 to 2022. Anh won The Top Paper Award offered by the Central States Communication Association’s Activism, Communication Ethics, and Social Justice Interest Group in April 2020. Anh is also the recipient of The Glenda Lewis Critical Race Scholar Award for Fall 2021 & Spring 2022.
