Eric is originally from Ghana, West Africa. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. He continued to pursue a Master’s in Communication Studies with a focus on Leadership and Organization Studies at the Minnesota State University, Mankato where his thesis on Postcolonial Leadership in African Student Organizations received the MAGS Distinguished Master's Thesis Award for Minnesota State University.  

Eric’s areas of research interest include Organizational Communication and Critical Cultural Studies. Specifically, he is interested in issues of race-ethnicity in organizations, postcolonialism, and transnationalism.  

Eric’s personal philosophy hinges on the continued quest for a dignified life for all humanity. He spends his spare time mentoring young male students, and contributing to discussions on race, leadership, education, and health policy on social media. He also loves to watch and play soccer, play tennis, and watch TV shows.
