Nash grew up in Albuquerque and recently returned home after 11 years away living in Portland, OR, and Oakland, CA. They graduated with honors from Lewis & Clark College with a B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology. In addition to performing as a personal storyteller, Nash sits on the board of Storytellers of New Mexico, a statewide nonprofit, under which they produce Duke City Story Slam, a monthly live storytelling competition. They currently work as the local anchor of Morning Edition from NPR News on KUNM Radio. Their communication research interests center Critical Media Studies with a focus on news production and impact. Nash is queer and nonbinary and has an Aquarius sun with a Sagittarius rising and Gemini moon.
