Gwyneth Doland elected to the board of directors of the Journalism and Women Symposium

In October C&J Term Faculty member, Gwyneth Doland Parker, was elected to the board of directors of the Journalism and Women Symposium.  JAWS is a national organization devoted to the professional empowerment and personal growth of women in journalism and works toward a more accurate portrayal of the whole society. Gwyneth has been a regional co-captain for JAWS and previously served on the JAWS board from 2011–2013. She joins President Jennifer Kho of HuffPost, Vice President Jhmira Alexander of Public Narrative, Deputy Vice President Sonya Ross of Black Women Unmuted, Secretary Tanya Gadzik of MediaPost, Treasurer Joanna Hernandez of the University of Florida and general board members Mei Fong of Human Rights Watch, Alison Bethel of Report for America, Amanda Crawford of the University of Connecticut, Jeanette Woods of WHYY, Suzanne Cosgrove of Lothian & Co. and Linda Jue of 100Reporters.
