Soham Sen (he/his/him) is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication & Journalism. He identifies himself as a diasporic, critically intersectional, South Asian, native-speaking scholar of critical intercultural communication. His research interest includes border studies; understanding the complexities of lived experiences of marginalized, co-cultural communities; Indian cinema; and the politics of caste and class in India and the Indian diaspora in the US. Soham's scholarship aligns with the practice of speaking with that allows him to practice an inclusive, self-reflexive, humanistic approach to studying communication. Soham's work has been included in the Top Student Paper Panel of the International and Intercultural Communication Division at the 109^th National Communication Association's Annual Convention, 2023.
