Andrea Naranjo

Andrea Naranjo (she/her/ella) was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Andrea is a proud first-generation college student, she attended Central New Mexico Community College before transferring to UNM, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Political Science. Through her academic work she aims to bring her community's voices forward into spaces where they've been silenced. Her ambition and resilience are inspired by her parents, who immigrated to the United States at a young age in pursuit of a better life, as well as by her two brothers. During her downtime she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, attending yoga classes, and enjoying her mom's homemade enchiladas.
