Process

C&J equipment borrowers (faculty, staff, and students) can request and check out camera equipment for educational purposes. Some equipment available to check out includes cameras, tripods, microphones, and more.

Borrowers must sign and submit the Equipment Checkout Policy Agreement Form. The form can upload here, emailed to video1@unm.edu, or handed in to the AV Office in room 110.

View the equipment catalog here, and place a request for the equipment here. Please submit the request 24 hours in advanced in order for us to ensure availability.

Please note: The prices shown in the catalog are to meant to demonstrate the amount borrowers will be potentially responsible for if the equipment is lost, stolen or damaged while in their possession.

After the equipment request has been submitted, borrowers can pick up their equipment at their scheduled appointment time at the AV Office in room 110. Undergraduate students MUST return their equipment WITHIN ONE WEEK from the day of the checkout. Graduate students, instructors, and staff will have different return agreements arranged accordingly.

Failure to return equipment on time may result in fees and checkout suspension.
