Eunju Yi (Ph.D.) Pronouns: She/Her (biological), Love (spiritual) Eunju Yi is a researcher, educator, and personal growth coach whose work bridges Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Health Communication, and AI ethics, with a focus on designing technologies that serve human dignity and growth. Her research explores how robots and AI can become persuasive partners, coaches, and companions—not merely tools—helping humans cultivate healthier choices, resilience, and self-growth. She is particularly interested in designing communicative interactions that empower marginalized communities, including those struggling with addiction, poverty, and social isolation. As an extension of her research and educational philosophy, she founded DeepFlow, a community dedicated to cultivating mindful communication and collective growth, and created OneSpoon, a digital platform for micro-learning and meditation. Both initiatives reflect her commitment to making communication research accessible and meaningful in daily life, showing how technology can expand human dignity, compassion, and joy.
