PhD student Janice Hersey was one of three people whose work was honored with a Top Student Paper award by the Religious Communication Association. Hooray!

Even better, when the chair of the Top Student Paper panel introduced Janice, she announced that the paper -- "Leave-Taking, Survival, and Religious Politics of Gender: A Qualitative Sensemaking Exploration" -- was not only the top student paper, but actually the top paper in the entire division!
