Scott A Reid
M.A. Student
Scott A Reid is a current MA student with a diverse background in both academics and vocational occupations. He is originally from western NY state where he was trained as an automotive repair technician at State University of New York at the campus in Alfred, NY. After moving to New Mexico in 1993, he enrolled at Santa Fe Community College to study media arts. This led to an interest in the study of communications and the media. In 2022, he graduated with a BA in communications with a concentration in media studies. His interests include political communication in the context of digital and social media and how they impact democracy across the globe.
In his free time, Scott is an avid mountain biker, hiker, and traveler and spends a great deal of time outdoors.
