Ruoning (Arrow) is a Ph.D. candidate and an instructor for C&J at UNM. She is originally from China, and her research focuses on gender sensemaking, inequality, colonialism, decolonialism, and power dynamics through interpersonal and intercultural communication. Arrow's dissertation focuses on visible and invisible gender inequality, regulation/colonization, and hatred in culture, social norms, and motherhood myths against women.
